Who we support

Little Charity Book Truck is proud to partner with two local organizations supporting youth and young families in Minnesota. All of the proceeds we raise through our book sales events are donated directly to aid our partners in their amazing charitable work. Learn more about them below.

  • The Link is a local nonprofit that serves 2,000 Twin Cities Metro youth each year who are experiencing homelessness, sexual exploitation and/or involvement in the juvenile justice system. The Link meets youth where they are at in their experience of homelessness or exploitation and offers a pathway toward safety, stability, and a hope-filled future. For many young people, this means first getting their basic needs met – like housing, food, and clothing – so they can begin to heal from trauma and transition out of survival mode. As youth begin to feel stable and supported, they work with their case manager to identify and pursue goals for their future. The results of The Link’s programs are truly transformational – young people are graduating from high school, accessing mental health therapy (often for the first time), launching meaningful careers, pursuing leadership roles in their community, and so much more.

  • Mission: To elevate our community through wellness, fitness, and education.

V3 Sports is a nonprofit organization raising funds to build a world-class sports and aquatic center in North Minneapolis. The center will offer a wide variety of programming for both youth and adults and will fuel economic and social transformation in the area. As there is a wide racial gap in swimming ability and safety, the facility will offer year-round pool access and swimming lessons to a population routinely underserved - North Minneapolis’s only indoor pool closed in 2007. The center’s general focus is overall wellness and it will also include a healthy food-focused restaurant, fitness center, child care facilities, and programming partnered with the Boys and Girls Club.
